Membership and Fees

Thanks for your interest in Estrella Mountain Homeschoolers. We are a social group of homeschooling parents and children who also value play time, field trips, sports, celebrations and serving our communities. We have between 50-100 child members at different times of the year and exist only through the efforts of our parent volunteers.

If you would like to join EMH, we'd love to meet you. These are the steps for joining:

1. Visit with us on a park day for an introduction on any 1st or 3rd Friday of the month to determine if EMH is a good fit for your family. Email us at [email protected] to schedule a date that is convenient for you and a volunteer parent will respond within 1-3 days with further information. If you were referred by a member, this step is optional and you can skip to step 2.


2. If you would like to join after meeting our group, click on the Join button on the top right of the website and fill out the registration form. You will create your website login there and will have access after membership payment is received.


3. Pay for membership at paypal.me/emhlife. You will see "emhlife" on the payment page. Please include the note "membership" and choose the Friends and Family option so we do not incur fees, otherwise your payment may be returned to you. All membership money stays in the group and is used to reimburse parents for the direct cost of coordinating our 5 main parties: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s and Stepping Up. Each event coordinator receives $4 per child member to pay for event supplies. All time is volunteered.


4. After we receive your registration and payment, we will approve your access to the member website which includes our events calendar.

Membership Fee:

• $9 yearly website access fee per family, paid directly to our website provider. (fiscal year July 1-June 31)
• $20 per child per year (prior to October 30) or prorated according to join date below.
